Natalie comes to TIDC from the Travis County Office of Parental Representation where she represented primary parents whose parental rights were challenged by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. Previously, Natalie worked for the Texas Office of Capital and Forensic Writs petitioning to overturn convictions and death sentences for Texas death row inmates, and worked as a trial attorney for the Bronx Defenders and Massachusetts public defenders’ offices. Natalie was a proud public defender and trial attorney for 16 years prior to joining TIDC. She holds a J.D. and M.A. in Comparative Literature from The Ohio State University.
